Madison Hostel Open House- Sept. 16th
 
Celebrating Madison, Culture and Art!

On September 16, 2006 from 12-4 pm, the Madison Hostel will host a community-wide open house and celebration for those who participated in the "Picture Your Summer" photo contest. Please join us for a fun afternoon and tour our spacious 31 bed hostel.

September 16-17, Weekend, Wisconsin River Sandbar Camping Trip as a farewell to summer after the tourist’s traffic abates on one of the most scenic sections of the Wisconsin River. Group meals. Leader: Bill Ross at 414-332-1889.

World Travel 101 is a fun "intro to traveling" workshop that HI-Wisconsin offers to the community on a monthly basis. We are currently looking for worldly volunteers to help us with this program. Topics covered include:

  • Responsible Travel/Intercultural Education

HI-Wisconsin Staff Additions
 
Executive Director, Program Director, & Madison Hostel Manager hired to help move HI-Wisconsin forward.

As Executive Director, Mike Krause is looking forward to expanding cultural programs and making HI-Wisconsin a primary travel resource in Wisconsin.

Tina Hanke will be in charge of HI-Wisconsin's educational programming and volunteer recruitment.
